Community Associations Institute has an interest in homeowner and condominium associations. The Institute was founded in the early 70's by the Urban Land Institute and other interested parties as a forum to bring together builders, developers, homeowners, management companies and others who had an active interest in the growing area of planned communities. C.A.I. regularly sponsors seminars and conferences, and publishes educational materials to help association volunteers throughout the United States.
